Governed Digital Workers

Put a governed digital worker to work in your business.

OSTEC helps you define the job, teach the knowledge and rules, connect the systems, and keep control. Operator knows the role and remembers the business. AgentFlow governs approved models, people, and tools as they complete and verify the work.

The business owns the worker. The worker uses the resources the business approves.

Insight is valuable. Responsibility is transformational.

Why We Built It

Business intelligence kept leading to the same unanswered question.

“Now that the business can see the problem, who is going to own the work?”

For decades, business intelligence has helped organisations gather data, understand performance, and make better decisions. OSTEC's work across banking, energy, trading, technology, healthcare, and regulated operations repeatedly exposed the same limitation: the insight still landed on a person's desk.

Someone still had to remember the context, interpret the rules, coordinate several systems, chase missing information, make the decision, complete the action, and prove it happened.

Conventional automation could move data, but it struggled with judgement, exceptions, changing context, and long-running work. A chatbot could discuss the problem, but it did not own the role.

That is the path that led to Operator and AgentFlow: a digital worker that can carry business intelligence forward into controlled action.

The Complete Journey

From knowing to doing, without losing control.

OSTEC joins business intelligence, persistent operational memory, model choice, process orchestration, and evidence into one worker model.

01

See

Bring together the records, documents, signals, and events that show what is happening.

02

Understand

Turn that raw information into business intelligence: what changed, why it matters, and what needs attention.

03

Decide

Operator recalls the role, rules, history, and current responsibility, then determines what should happen next.

04

Act

AgentFlow governs the right models, people, tools, approvals, and business systems as they complete the work.

05

Prove

The worker checks the real outcome, records the evidence, reports back, and remembers what matters next time.

What OSTEC Created

One business outcome. Three clear responsibilities.

This is not consultancy built around whichever AI tool is fashionable. The worker has a stable identity and operating model even when the underlying intelligence changes.

01
The implementation

OSTEC

Defines the role, knowledge, rules, systems, controls, and evidence with your team, then implements the worker in the reality of your business.

02
The worker

Operator

Owns the job. Operator OS holds its role, memory, teachings, routines, current responsibilities, permissions, and judgement.

03
Governed execution

AgentFlow

Governs and verifies the approved models, people, tools, approvals, events, and business systems used to complete the work.

Different Sectors, Different Workers

The technology is reusable. The role is specific to the business.

We do not drop a generic agent into every industry. Each Operator is taught the language, responsibilities, evidence, systems, and boundaries of its sector.

Banking & financial services

Investigation and compliance Operator

Builds a case from fragmented records, follows financial-crime or onboarding policy, coordinates checks, and sends judgement points to authorised people.

Case evidence · policy gates · human approval
Energy & utilities

Data and operations Operator

Reconciles customer, meter, finance, public, and trading information, identifies exceptions, runs the next process, and produces trusted operational reporting.

Mastered data · exception handling · audit trail
Healthcare & life sciences

Research and evidence Operator

Reviews literature and regulated information, maintains the research context, prepares structured findings, and holds clinical or compliance judgement for a person.

Source traceability · bounded role · expert sign-off
Technology & engineering

Engineering delivery Operator

Chooses Claude Code, Codex, or another approved model for each task, coordinates specialists, tests the result, and keeps release approval with the team.

Model choice · isolated work · tested output
Retail & marketplaces

Customer and marketplace Operator

Handles onboarding, verification, payments, supplier or customer communication, and recurring operational exceptions across the systems already in use.

Multi-channel work · KYC/KYB · escalation
Trading & market operations

Trading Operator

Scans live market conditions in paper trading, follows taught strategies and hard risk limits, places or declines an instructed trade, and verifies the platform record.

Risk and compliance · fixed authority · verified fills
Live product proof · paper trading

We gave an Operator responsibility for a trading role.

The Operator is connected to ARGUS, OSTEC's paper-trading platform. It can review live market conditions, strategies, positions, budgets, risk and compliance checks, and the actual order record without risking real money.

It is not asked to improvise. It follows a taught trading doctrine, fixed authority, scheduled routines, and hard gates it cannot loosen itself.

15 July 2026

It acted when every condition passed.

The worker screened eligible shares, kept PayPal on watch, and bought 29 Intel shares in paper trading only after the strategy, market regime, risk, and compliance checks agreed. It then verified the recorded fill and position.

16 July 2026

It waited when no condition qualified.

On the latest verified scheduled scan, it assessed 15 shares, found no complete setup, placed no order, updated the items worth watching, and retained the evidence. It did not manufacture activity to appear autonomous.

This is the business point.

A useful digital worker owns a responsibility, remembers its operating context, follows instructions, uses powerful models and systems, and can prove why acting or waiting was correct.

Founder-Led, Product-Backed

Enterprise experience became an operating platform.

OSTEC was founded by Osmond James after 28 years working across enterprise architecture, business intelligence, platform engineering, and complex financial services technology at HSBC, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, and beyond.

That experience matters because digital workers cannot be implemented as isolated AI experiments. They need to understand operating models, data ownership, integration, regulation, risk, delivery, and the practical reality of how work crosses a business.
